Rejects heat

Keep your cabin cooler and cut down on AC. Ceramic films offer the strongest heat rejection.

Blocks UV

Helps protect your skin on every drive and stops your dashboard and seats from fading and cracking.

Cuts glare

Stay legal

California tint law, in plain English

We keep your car looking great and street-legal. Here is how California's rules work, and the Tint Studio shows it live as you choose a shade.

  • Front side windows: film must let more than 70% of light through
  • Rear side windows: any darkness allowed
  • Back windshield: any darkness allowed
  • Windshield: a non-reflective strip along the top

FAQ

Window tint questions, answered

How dark can I legally tint in California?
Aftermarket film on the front side windows must allow more than 70% of light through (VLT). Rear side windows and the back windshield can be any darkness, and the windshield allows a non-reflective strip along the top. We will help you choose a legal, great-looking setup.
Carbon or ceramic, what's the difference?
Carbon film looks great and rejects heat at a friendly price. Ceramic film generally rejects more heat without going darker, and is metal-free so it does not interfere with signals.
Does tint block UV rays?
Yes, window film blocks the large majority of UV rays, helping protect your skin and your interior from fading and cracking.
Is the tint warrantied?
Warranty coverage depends on the film and product selected. We'll go over the specifics with you when you get your free quote.
